Earlene Forsythe RN, MSN, APRN, APH
Our Medical Team is the Key.
Following the passing of her beloved husband of over 50 years, Dr. James W. Forsythe, Earlene Forsythe, RN, MSN, APRN, APH now leads the medical team at the Forsythe Cancer Care Center in Reno, Nevada. Having worked beside Dr. Forsythe for five decades, Earlene continues to uphold and implement his integrative cancer treatment protocols in collaboration with Dr. Magen. Together, they ensure patients receive the same high level of compassionate, evidence-based care that defined Dr. Forsythe’s legacy.
Dr. Forsythe, a former associate professor of medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, was a pioneer in integrative oncology. He conducted five original clinical outcome-based studies on various natural substances and dedicated over 40 years to blending alternative, complementary, and conventional medicine. He earned national recognition for his groundbreaking work, demonstrating that patients who undergo integrative therapies often experience improved outcomes and reduced toxicity compared to conventional treatments alone.
Earlene Forsythe remains the heart and voice of this mission. She continues to treat, manage, and implement healthcare protocols at The Forsythe Center with a focus on cancer care, women’s health, and anti-aging medicine. A steadfast advocate for health freedom, Earlene served as Nevada’s Health Freedom lobbyist in 1998. Her efforts led to the passage of the Health Freedom Resolution in 1999, promoting patient choice in the treatment of chronic and terminal illnesses.
Under her leadership, the Forsythe Cancer Care Center remains committed to offering integrative therapies and upholding a legacy of innovation, compassion, and empowerment in cancer care.
